Systems Administrator (ACE OPS)

Aerient LLC. is looking for a Systems Administrator (ACE OPS) to add to our dynamic team of IT professionals. The successful candidate will coordinate with appropriate levels to ensure problem solution and user satisfaction. Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems (ACE OPS). Manages IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems (ACE OPS). Provide support to IT systems (ACE OPS) including: day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client problems. Provide second level problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems. Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remain involved in the resolution process. Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers. Must possess experience in one or more systems and architectures and associated hardware: mainframe, mini, or client/server based. This will be focused on ACE OPS.

Required Experience/Skills:

• 5-12 years experience in the IT field, or equivalent post-high school studies
• Experience writing functional requirements and preparing functional designs
• Excellent communication skills, including strong writing skills
• Experience across the systems engineering lifecycle
• Significant experience in requirements development and traceability through the SELC of a system – from requirements definition to design to development and testing and post production validation

Security Clearance

• Holding active or previous experience and baged with the Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) with Background Investigation (BI) is a plus.

Work Location:

• CBP Data Center, Newington, VA near Ft. Belvoir, VA
