Project Control Specialist

Aerient LLC. is looking for a Project Control Specialist to add to our dynamic team of IT professionals. As a Project Control Specialist the candidate will direct all financial management and administrative activities, such as budgeting, manpower and resource planning, and financial reporting. Performs complex evaluations of existing procedures, processes, technique models, and/or systems related to management problems or contractual issues which would require a report and recommend solutions be developed. Develops work breakdown structures, prepare charts, tables, graphs and diagrams to assist in analyzing problems. Provides daily supervision and direction to staff as required. This will function in the Data Engineering environment.

Required Experience/Skills:

• 2-9 years experience in the IT field, or equivalent post-high school studies based on degree level
• Excellent communication skills, including strong writing skills
• Experience across the systems engineering lifecycle
• Significant experience in requirements development and traceability through the SELC of a system – from requirements definition to design to development and testing and post production validation
• Experience writing functional/business requirements and preparing functional designs
• Strong background or training in project management

• WRAPS and Dimensions DDL review requests
• Erwin Data Modeler enterprise tool support
• Enterprise Data Assets to support ad-hoc updates to EAIR
• Information Exchange Package Documents (IEPD) to develop/review for National Information Exchange Model (NIEM)
• Data Management policies, processes, and standards documents to develop/maintain

Education:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline, preferred.

Security Clearance

• Holding active or previous experience and badged with the Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) with Background Investigation(BI) is a plus.
• Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident to obtain/maintain National Security Clearance.

• CBP Data Center, Newington, VA near Ft. Belvoir, VA
