Functional Analyst (Senior) (Storage)

Aerient LLC. is looking for a Functional Analyst (Senior) to add to our dynamic team of IT professionals. As a Functional Analyst, the candidate will manage the daily functional analysis for all relevant interfaces for a federal data center. The successful candidate should have a good understanding of IT processes with a concentration on data center knowledge is expected. Analyzes user needs to determine functional and cross-functional requirements. Performs functional allocation to identify required tasks and their interrelationships. Identifies resources required for each task. Provides daily supervision and direction to support staff. This will be focused on systems storage.

Required Experience/Skills:

• 5-9 years experience in the IT field, or equivalent post-high school studies and degree level held
• Experience writing functional/business requirements and preparing functional designs
• Excellent communication skills, including strong writing skills
• Experience across the systems engineering lifecycle
• Significant experience in requirements development and traceability through the SELC of a system – from requirements definition to design to development and testing and post production validation
• Experience writing functional/business requirements and preparing functional designs

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline, preferred.

Security Clearance

• Holding active or previous experience and badged with the Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) with Background Investigation(BI) is a plus.
• Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident to obtain/maintain National Security Clearance.

• CBP Data Center, Newington, VA near Ft. Belvoir, VA
