Aerient, LLC provides the full range of Functional Category 2 operations and maintenance (O&M) solutions, processes, and procedures necessary to sustain systems within the DHS enterprise at the highest levels of service and availability. These include data center, help desk and field support services (e.g., desk-side support and LAN administration), network and security operations, and collaboration services (e.g., e-mail, voice, and video services). Our services range from maintaining and upgrading individual pieces of hardware and software to full managed-service solutions.
Aerient brings a long, successful history of O&M for federal government clients, including recent successes at DHS. We employ a system development methodology externally appraised SEI CMMI Level 3 aligned with PMI PMBOK best practices to ensure project success. Aerient, LLC brings relevant experience in providing IT and telecommunications operations and maintenance services for clients including DHS, Department of Defense (DoD), law enforcement and intelligence agencies, Department of Energy (DOE), and large systems integrators and commercial customers. Highlights include:
• Providing network and database support to Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for all financial and related systems to ensure operational stability, data integrity, and to provide reports to meet requirements for FEMA Financial and Workforce Management, OMB, GAO, Federal Activities Inventory Reform (FAIR) Act, and other related activities.
• Providing technical and management support to FEMA for the National Fire Incident Reporting System (NFIRS) including Base Operations and Maintenance Support, Software and Programming Support, and User Technical Assistance Support.
• Maintaining and supporting the I-LINK information management system for U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), including data conversion, content management, and migration services.
• Managing a range of internet and intranet support services for FEMA, including system and database administration, web design, development and content administration, web content management, software engineering and development, and support of third party software.
• Providing development, operations and maintenance support for the DHS TSA Office of Security Technology (CTO) Security Technology Management Information Systems (MIS).
